Pilz PILZ-630809 is a safety light curtain designed for body protection with a T-muting sensor that operates in two directions. It features a net height of 653 mm and is capable of detecting opaque objects of 515mm with its 2 beams emitter and receiver pair. The connection types include 4-pin and 5-pin M12 male connectors for the emitter and 5-pin and 8-pin M12 male connectors for the receiver. Classified under the Basic sub-range, it has a protective height of 500mm and offers a degree of protection of IP65. The device operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and is encased in an aluminium housing. With a net width of 35 mm and a depth of 41.2 mm, it provides a sensing distance operating range of 0.5m to 3m. The light curtain emits infrared LED (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm and features a distance between its 2 beams of 515mm. It can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -10 to +50 °C and can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C. Additionally, it includes 2 x digital outputs (500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 14ms / 0.014 s. The resolution is specifically designed for body protection at 515mm.
