Pilz PILZ-631025 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection with a resolution of 30mm, capable of detecting opaque objects. It features a variety of functions including test, manual/automatic restart, EDM reset, muting, blanking, GUI coding, PNP/NPN connection, and cascading. The device operates within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C and has a net height of 1356.3 mm. It is designed with muting, blanking, and cascading options without a dead zone for hand protection, comprising an emitter and receiver pair. The rated current ranges from 20mA to 300mA for an external lamp, and it connects via a 5-pin M12 connector for the emitter and 12-pin M12 connector for the receiver in the blanking model, with both 12-pin and 5-pin M12 connectors for the receiver in the muting model. As part of the Advanced sub-range, it has a protective height of 1350mm and an IP65 degree of protection. The supply voltage is 19.2-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc. The housing is made of vanished Aluminium, PBT terminal cap, PMMA front screen, and PC cover, in a yellow color. The maximum cable length is 50m, with a net width of 35 mm and a sensing distance operating range of 0.2m to 20m. It uses infrared LED light with a maximum power consumption of 3W for the emitter and 5W for the receiver without load, featuring 72 beams with a 30mm beam gap. The net depth is 40.8 mm, with a wavelength of 950 nm. It can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C and offers 2 x digital outputs (NPN or PNP; 500mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, with a response time of 19ms.
