Pilz PILZ-632048 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII3F sub-range and is housed in an aluminium body with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C for operation and -25 to +70°C for storage. The device offers a protective height of 1500mm and a net height of 1504mm, with a width of 35mm and a depth of 40mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, facilitating easy connection. The safety light curtain operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal voltage of 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It provides a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 8m and includes two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs. The device emits infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm and has a response time of 17.4ms with beam coding and 91.4ms. It is designed to be robust, with a degree of protection rated at IP65, and supports a maximum cable length of 50m.
