Pilz PILZ-632060 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter and receiver pair is part of the PSEN opII4H sub-range and is built with a robust type design, featuring an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and offers a protective height of 450mm. The device connects via 5-pin M12 connectors for both the emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. With a net height of 454mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm, this safety light curtain is designed to cover a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It supports a supply voltage range of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver's OSSD outputs and has a response time of 6.5ms with beam coding and 11.7ms without. The maximum cable length supported is 50m, and it is designed to be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70 °C.
