Pilz PILZ-632080 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects across a sensing distance of 0.2m to 8m. This emitter and receiver pair, part of the PSEN opII4F sub-range, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60 °C and offers a protective height of 300mm. It features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. The connection is facilitated through 5-pin M12 connectors for both emitter and receiver, supporting a maximum cable length of 50m. With a net height of 304mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm, this unit requires a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal). It utilizes infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm, with power consumption of max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. The device includes 2 digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver (OSSD outputs) and has a response time of 7.2ms / 0.0072 s with beam coding or 15.2ms / 0.0152 s.
