Pilz PILZ-632220 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 300mm. This robust type emitter part only features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. With dimensions including a net height of 304mm, width of 35mm, and depth of 40mm, it is constructed from an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The device supports a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum cable length of 50m. It offers a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs, a response time of 5.9ms with beam coding, and 11.7ms, and is designed with a resolution of 30mm for hand protection. The degree of protection is rated at IP65, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
