Pilz PILZ-632224 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type emitter part, belonging to the PSEN opII3H sub-range, operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C. It features a net height of 1354 mm and is constructed with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The device connects via a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, and it is designed to cover a protective height of 1350mm. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is suitable for various industrial environments. The safety light curtain operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It supports a sensing distance from 0.2m to 18m and emits infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The device's dimensions include a net width of 35 mm and a depth of 40 mm, allowing for a maximum cable length of 50m. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 10.4ms with beam coding and 22.3ms otherwise. The resolution is set at 30mm for hand protection, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
