Pilz PILZ-632225 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter part of the system operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 750mm. It features a robust design with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. The connection is facilitated through a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver. Part of the PSEN opII3H sub-range, it has a net height of 754mm, a width of 35mm, and a depth of 40mm. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It can sense objects within a distance of 0.2m to 18m and features infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It also includes two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 7.8ms with beam coding and 15.2ms otherwise. The maximum cable length supported is 50m, and it can be stored in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
