Pilz PILZ-632226 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This robust type emitter part features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3H sub-range. The device supports a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It offers a sensing distance operating range of 0.2m to 18m with infrared LED light at a wavelength of 850 nm. The safety light curtain is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It allows for a maximum cable length of 50m and features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs.
