Pilz PILZ-632246 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting 14mm opaque objects. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and has a net height of 1354 mm. This robust type emitter part of the PSEN opII3F sub-range features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, ensuring a secure connection. The device offers a protective height of 1350mm and is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water ingress. It requires a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal, and is constructed from an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen. The maximum cable length is 50m, and it has a net width of 35 mm and a net depth of 40 mm. The sensing distance ranges from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is max 1.5 W for the emitter and max 2.5 W for the receiver without load. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 16.1ms with beam coding and 91.4ms. The ambient air temperature for storage is -25 to +70°C, and it has a resolution of 14mm for finger protection.
