Pilz PILZ-632263 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter part of the system comes with a robust type design, featuring a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver units. It falls under the PSEN opII4H sub-range and offers a protective height of 900mm. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -10 to +60 degrees Celsius and storage temperatures from -25 to +70 degrees Celsius. The device operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and has a maximum power consumption of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It is constructed with an aluminium housing, zinc end cap, and a PC front screen, measuring 904mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth. The sensing distance spans from 0.2m to 18m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 8.4ms with beam coding and 15.2ms otherwise. The maximum cable length supported is 50m.
