Pilz PILZ-632267 is a safety light curtain designed for hand protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 30mm. This emitter part of the system comes with a robust aluminium housing, zinc end caps, and a PC front screen, ensuring durability. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1350mm. The device connects via a 5-pin M12 connector for both the emitter and receiver, fitting into the PSEN opII4H sub-range. With dimensions of 1354mm in height, 35mm in width, and 40mm in depth, it is designed for a maximum cable length of 50m. The safety light curtain operates within a sensing distance of 0.2m to 18m and uses infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It has a supply voltage requirement of 18-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nominal) and a power consumption of a maximum of 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. The device is IP65 rated, indicating protection against dust ingress and low-pressure water jets from any direction. It features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 10.4ms with beam coding and 22.3ms without. The ambient air temperature for storage is specified as -25 to +70°C.
