Pilz PILZ-632345 is a safety light curtain designed for finger protection, capable of detecting opaque objects as small as 14mm. This robust type receiver part operates within an ambient air temperature range of -10 to +60°C and offers a protective height of 1050mm. It features a 5-pin M12 connector for both emitter and receiver, falling under the PSEN opII3F sub-range. The device is encased in an aluminium housing with zinc end caps and a PC front screen, ensuring a degree of protection rated at IP65. It operates on a supply voltage of 18-28.8Vdc, with a nominal 24Vdc, and can accommodate a maximum cable length of 50m. With a net width of 35mm and a depth of 40mm, this safety light curtain has a sensing distance ranging from 0.2m to 8m, utilizing infrared LED light with a wavelength of 850 nm. Power consumption is maxed at 1.5W for the emitter and 2.5W for the receiver without load. It also features two digital outputs (100mA) for the receiver OSSD outputs and has a response time of 13.6ms with beam coding and 91.4ms. The device is suitable for storage in temperatures ranging from -25 to +70°C.
