Schneider Electric ATV930U40M3 is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the Altivar Process 930 series, designed for enclosed variable speed or frequency drive applications. It features Safe Torque Off (STO) functionality up to SIL3, constant load torque standard, and optimized torque mode for PM (permanent magnet) motors. This model offers motor control with an overload torque up to 180% Tn in both open or closed loop configurations and supports Master/Slave and load sharing with drive-to-drive capability. It provides continuous and historical real-time measurements with customizable dashboards and predictive maintenance capabilities. The design includes a built-in brake unit, operates on a supply voltage of 170-264Vac (200Vac / 220Vac / 230Vac / 240Vac nom.), and has dimensions of H350mm x W144mm x D206mm with an IP21 degree of protection. The rated current is 18.7A for normal-duty at 4kHz, 13.7A for heavy-duty at 4kHz, with a maximum current of 22.4A for normal-duty and 20.6A for heavy-duty, both for 60 seconds. It supports wall mounting and uses Modbus, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet/IP communication protocols. The network is 3-phase (3P) with an output frequency range of 0.1-599 Hz.
