Product description
Square D by Schneider Electric BDL36045LV is a Moulded Case Circuit Breaker (MCCB) within the PowerPacT BDL sub-range. It features a PowerPact B-Frame 100 TMD design with 3 poles (3P) and a rated current of 45A. This MCCB operates at a rated voltage of 600Vac 600Y/347Vac and a DC voltage of 250Vdc, with an impulse voltage rating (Uimp) of 8 kV. It is equipped with Everlink (Creep compensating) lugs on both line and load sides, plus a Control Wire terminal (CWT) on the load side only, offering a degree of protection of IP40. The device has a fixed mounting mode on DIN rail or can be individually mounted on a plate, with dimensions of 137 mm in height, 80 mm in depth, and 81 mm in width. It is designed for a utilisation category A and has a mechanical durability of 20,000 operations at no load and an electrical durability of 10,000 operations with load (440Vac; In). The protection settings include over-current fixed at 45A, short-circuit hold current fixed at 400A, and short-circuit trip current fixed at 600A. Its protection functions cover thermal protection (Overload) and magnetic protection (Short-circuit), with a trip current rating of 45 AT and a frame current rating of 100 AF. The operating mode is manual toggle, and the trip unit type is Thermal-Magnetic (fixed) without a display. The short circuit breaking rating varies with voltage: 25kA at 240Vac, 18kA at 480Vac and 480Y/277Vac, and 14kA at 600Y/347Vac, all according to UL489 standards.
