Schneider Electric TM241C24R is a CPU unit designed with integrated I/Os, serving as a Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) CPU processor module. It features a PID Run/Stop switch, an industrial SD memory card slot, a backup battery slot, and a Mini-USB connector for programming. The unit is equipped with a terminal clip for locking onto symmetrical rail, supports firmware updates, and facilitates data exchange through NGVL and IEC VAR ACCESS. It includes a web server, SNMP-MIB2 network management, FTP (Client/Server), SNMP (Client/Server), SQL (Client), and an Email library, alongside DHCP Client functionalities for programming, downloading, and monitoring. The connection is established via a removable screw terminal block, 1 x RJ45 connector (RS-232 / RS-485 with +5V supply), and 1 x USB mini-B port. It operates on a supply voltage of 85-264Vac (100-240Vac nom.) and can be mounted on a symmetrical rail or panel. The ambient air temperature for operation ranges from +14 to +131°F / -10 to +55 °C. Memory capacity includes 64MB (RAM), 128MB (flash), and 8MB for program size (application and symbols). It has an IP20 degree of protection and uses RS-232 and RS-485 communication protocols. The unit features 6 x digital outputs (2A; relay contact outputs), 4 x digital outputs (500mA; high-speed transistors; Source), and 14 x digital inputs (24Vdc; Sink/Source; 8 inputs can be used as high-speed HSC counters). It supports up to 7 x local I.O., 14 x distributed I.O., 7 x Modicon TM3 expansion modules for local I.O., and 14 x Modicon TM3 expansion modules for remote I.O. using bus expansion modules. Modicon TM2 expansion modules are also compatible with restrictions. It includes 1 x slot for 2 x cartridges for analog I.O. expansion or application cartridge. The ambient air temperature for storage is -40 to +158°F / -40 to +70 °C, with a humidity tolerance of 5-95% (without condensation). Processing time is 300μs / 0.3 ms for 1k instructions (event and periodic task) and 700μs / 0.7 ms for other instructions, with a hold time of 0.01s (immunity to micro-breaks class PS-2). The processor is a dual-core type.
