About the product
Banner Engineering PVL225N is a photo-electric array sensor designed for retro-reflective mode operation. It features a pre-wired 2m pigtail terminated with a 5-pin M12 connector for connectivity. The sensor has a rectangular shape with dimensions including a 225mm array length and is housed in black anodized aluminum with a PVC connector. It offers a sensing distance of 1.5m (1500mm) and operates with a supply voltage range of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. The PVL225N operates efficiently in ambient air temperatures up to +50°C and provides a degree of protection rated at IP50. It is equipped with a digital output (NPN transistor) and has a current consumption of 140mA (0.14 A). The sensor emits light in green and red with wavelengths of 525 nm and 625 nm, respectively, and features a 70mm beam spacing/pitch. Its operating mode is NO (Normally Open).
