Banner Engineering S18SP6D is a photo-electric sensor from the S18 DC series, designed in a diffuse mode with a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc. The S18SP6D can function within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, featuring 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC). The sensing distance is set at 100mm, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. It has a response time of 3ms / 0.003 s and supports operating modes of Light-ON and Dark-ON.
