Banner Engineering S18SP6LPQPMA is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the S18 DC series, designed in a retro-reflective mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing, acrylic lens, and a polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. It is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm PUR cable that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C. The sensor offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, IP69K, and NEMA 6P, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its shape is an M18 cylindrical threaded/barrel, and it includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC) for connectivity. The sensing distance is up to 2m, and it utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 680 nm for detection.
