About the product
Banner Engineering SM2A312FVQD is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor within the SM2A312 series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment for glass fiber. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens and comes pre-equipped with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac, with nominal voltages of 200Vac and 220Vac, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. Designed for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C, it offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type), emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm, and has a response time of 8ms (0.008 s).
