About the product
Banner Engineering SM312CV2 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a convergent mode potentiometer adjustment. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The SM312CV2 offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It is capable of sensing distances up to 43mm and emits visible red light. The response time of the sensor is 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
