About the product
Banner Engineering SM31RL W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, functioning as a receiver alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired connection with a 30ft / 9m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The supply voltage required for operation ranges from 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values at 12Vdc and 24Vdc. It is designed for M18 threaded mount installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM31RL W/30 offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), capable of sensing distances up to 30m with an infrared (IR) light color. The sensor's response time is 1ms / 0.001 s, and it supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
