About the product
Banner Engineering SM312CVSC is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a convergent mode shielded cable and potentiometer adjustment for "C" modulation frequency. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc / 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SM312CVSC is capable of functioning within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12. It has a rectangular shape, includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), and provides a sensing distance of 16mm. The sensor emits visible red light and has a response time of 1ms / 0.001 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
