About the product
Banner Engineering SM312DSC W/10 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a diffuse mode, shielded cable, and potentiometer adjustment for precise operation. It features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 10ft / 3m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. This sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a high degree of protection with ratings of IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. The rectangular-shaped sensor provides 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of 380mm, utilizes infrared (IR) light, and boasts a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
