Banner Engineering SM312DVQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal voltages of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The SM312DVQD offers versatile mounting options with an M18 threaded mount and can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C. It boasts a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and various NEMA standards including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12, ensuring durability in diverse environments. The sensor has a rectangular shape and provides one digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), capable of sensing distances up to 380mm. It emits visible red light and features a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s, with operating modes that include Light-ON and Dark-ON.
