About the product
Banner Engineering SME312CV2WQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with a convergent mode TEACH mode. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc, and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SME312CV2WQD is capable of functioning within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a sensing distance of 43mm. The sensor emits visible white light, with a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s, and operates in both Light-ON and Dark-ON modes, across a wavelength range of 450-650 nm.
