About the product
Banner Engineering SME312CVQDP is a photo-electric sensor from the SME312 Expert series, designed with a convergent mode TEACH mode. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 5-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The SME312CVQDP is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor) and has a sensing distance of 16mm. The sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 650 nm and boasts a response time of 0.5ms / 0.0005 s. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes.
