About the product
Banner Engineering VSM-2S4AND100-2M is a photo-electric sensor with a stainless steel housing, P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics, and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65°C. This sensor operates in Light-ON mode and features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; 100mA) with a response time of 500μs / 0.0005 s. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. The sensor has a 4mm diameter, cylindrical smooth shape, and emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 630 nm. It is designed for diffuse mode with a sensing distance of 0...100mm. The supply voltage required is 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.), and it belongs to the VSM-2 series.
