About the product
Banner Engineering VSM-2S4AND100-Q3 is a photo-electric sensor with a stainless steel housing, P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics, and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable sheath. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65 °C. This sensor operates in Light-ON mode and features 1 x digital output (NPN transistor; 100mA) with a response time of 500µs / 0.0005 s. It comes pre-wired with a 6" / 15cm PUR cable terminated with a 3-pin Pico-style M8 connector. The sensor has a 4mm diameter, cylindrical smooth shape, and emits a visible red light with a wavelength of 630 nm. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and is designed in diffuse mode with a sensing distance of 0...100mm. This part belongs to the VSM-2 series.
