About the product
Banner Engineering VSM-2S4APD100-2M is a photo-electric sensor designed with a stainless steel housing, P.B.T./Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) optics, and a Polyurethane (PUR) cable. It offers an IP67 degree of protection, making it suitable for operation in ambient air temperatures ranging from -25 to +65°C. This sensor operates in Light-ON mode and features a single digital output (PNP transistor / IO-Link; 100mA). It has a response time of 500µs in normal mode, with finer and faster modes accessible via IO-Link. The VSM-2S4APD100-2M utilizes IO-Link communication protocol and comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m PUR cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It has a cylindrical smooth shape with a 4mm diameter, emits visible red light at a wavelength of 630 nm, and operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.). Designed in diffuse mode, it has a sensing distance of 0 to 100mm. This sensor is part of the VSM-2 series.
