Banner Engineering DQ12AP6RQ3 is a photo-electric sensor characterized by its thermoplastic housing and polycarbonate lens. It operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67. This sensor emits visible red light with a wavelength of 645 nm and features a response time of 1.3ms for turning on and 0.7ms for turning off. It includes one digital output utilizing a PNP transistor and operates in a Light-ON mode. The DQ12AP6RQ3, part of the DQ12 series, is designed as a through-beam system or opposed mode sensor with a rectangular shape and a sensing distance of up to 3 meters. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Pico-style M8 connector. The sensor requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and is presented in a black housing.
