About the product
Banner Engineering Q20NDVS is a photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 degrees Celsius and features a diffuse (small spot) system with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy installation. Part of the Q20 series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The Q20NDVS operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability. The sensing distance is set at 250mm, and it utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 660 nm for detection. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.8ms / 0.0008 s.
