About the product
Banner Engineering Q20NAF200 W/30 is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60 °C and features a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy integration into existing systems. Part of the Q20 series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. Its rectangular shape is constructed from a thermoplastic housing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens, ensuring durability and clear signal transmission. The sensing distance ranges from 30mm to 200mm, utilizing visible red light with a wavelength of 632 nm for detection. It supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (NPN transistor) for signaling. The response time is quick at 2.8ms / 0.0028 s, allowing for rapid detection and processing.
