About the product
Banner Engineering Q20PAF200 is an adjustable-field photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and features a background suppression system with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy installation. Part of the Q20 series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with 12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal, and is housed in a rectangular, thermoplastic casing with a Polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) lens. It offers a sensing distance of 30mm to 200mm and utilizes visible red light with a wavelength of 632 nm. The Q20PAF200 supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) with a response time of 2.8ms / 0.0028 s.
