About the product
Banner Engineering Q20PLPQ5 is a polarized photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and features a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 6-inch (150mm) pigtail that terminates with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector, ensuring easy installation. Part of the Q20 series, it boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6, making it suitable for challenging environments. The Q20PLPQ5 requires a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values, and is housed in a durable thermoplastic casing. It offers a sensing distance of up to 4 meters and utilizes visible red light (645 nm wavelength) for detection. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.8ms (0.0008 seconds).
