About the product
Banner Engineering Q20PDXL-94579 is a long-range photo-electric sensor designed for a variety of applications requiring precise detection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +60°C and features a diffuse mode with potentiometer adjustment for fine-tuning. It comes pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads, ensuring easy installation. Part of the Q20 series, it boasts a rectangular shape with a thermoplastic housing, providing a degree of protection rated at IP67 NEMA 6 against dust and water ingress. The Q20PDXL-94579 operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with 12Vdc and 24Vdc as nominal values. It has a sensing distance of up to 3.5m and utilizes infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm for detection. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and includes 1 x digital output (PNP transistor) with a rapid response time of 0.8ms / 0.0008 s.
