About the product
Banner Engineering SAB-497AB1DS6-Q5E is a sensor from the QS18 series designed as a diffuse mode measuring light curtain array sensor. It features an anodized aluminum housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-wired with a 6" / 150mm pigtail terminated with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. This sensor has a protective height of 413mm and comes in a black housing. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nom.) and can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C. With an IP50 degree of protection, it is designed in a rectangular shape with dimensions of 36mm in width, 497mm in height, and 38mm in depth. The SAB-497AB1DS6-Q5E features 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), has a sensing distance of 8" / 200mm, utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 940 nm, and operates in Light-ON mode.
