About the product
Banner Engineering SLPCE14-970, part of the LP Low-Profile series, is a safety light curtain designed for emitter functionality with a cascadable design. It features an aluminium housing, acrylic lens, and zinc end caps. The connection is facilitated through a wiring chamber. This part has a protective height of 970mm and comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. The SLPCE14-970 offers a degree of protection rated at IP65 and has dimensions of 28mm in width, 969mm in height, and 26mm in depth. The beam spacing or pitch is 14mm, suitable for finger detection, with a sensing distance ranging from 10cm to 7m. It emits infrared light with a wavelength of 850 nm. The digital outputs include 2 x 24Vdc, 500mA sourcing redundant OSSD solid-state outputs, and 1 x 24Vdc, 250mA PNP transistor FAULT output. Additionally, it has 1 x digital input (10Vdc-30Vdc) for RESET functionality and a response time of 25.5ms.
