About the product
Banner Engineering SLPCP25-550, part of the LP Low-Profile series, is a safety light curtain designed for hand detection with a resolution of 25mm. This cascadable unit features an emitter and receiver pair housed in aluminum with acrylic lenses and zinc end caps. It offers a protective height of 550mm and is equipped with a wiring chamber connection for installation. The SLPCP25-550 operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. It is rated IP65 for protection against dust and water jets. The dimensions include a net width of 28mm, height of 549mm, and depth of 26mm. The yellow housing encompasses digital outputs: two 24Vdc, 500mA sourcing redundant OSSD solid-state outputs, and one 24Vdc, 250mA PNP transistor FAULT output. Additionally, it features one digital input for EDM and one for RESET, both accepting 10Vdc to 30Vdc at 30mA. The sensing distance ranges from 10cm to 7m, with an infrared light color at a wavelength of 850nm and a response time of 11ms.
