Banner Engineering SLSE14-150Q8 is a safety light curtain designed for protective applications, part of the 14/30 series. This unit, functioning as an emitter alone, features an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and die-cast zinc end caps. It is pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity. The device offers a protective height of 150mm and comes in a yellow housing. It operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage and can function within an ambient air temperature range of 0 to +55°C. With an IP65 degree of protection, it is safeguarded against dust and low-pressure water jets. The SLSE14-150Q8 has a net width of 36mm and a depth of 46mm. It features a 14mm beam spacing/pitch and provides two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) for enhanced safety measures. The sensing distance ranges from 10cm to 6m, utilizing infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm. It has a response time of 11ms / 0.011 s and is designed for finger detection with a resolution of 14mm.
