About the product
Banner Engineering SM2A312DQD is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series, designed with a diffuse mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor features a thermoplastic housing with an acrylic lens and is pre-equipped with a 3-pin 1/2" micro connector for connectivity. It operates on a supply voltage range of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and can be mounted using an M18 threaded mount. The sensor is capable of operating in ambient air temperatures ranging from -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, NEMA 12, and NEMA 13. It has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type) with a sensing distance of 380mm. The light color is visible red with a wavelength of 650 nm, and it has a response time of 8ms / 0.008 s. The operating mode can be set to Light-ON or Dark-ON.
