About the product
Banner Engineering SM2A31R W/30 is a photo-electric sensor from the SM2A312 series designed with a through-beam system and opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. This sensor, functioning as the receiver alone, is housed in thermoplastic with an acrylic lens. It features a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable with bare end flying leads for connection. The sensor operates on a supply voltage of 24Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nom.) and is mounted using an M18 threaded mount. It is designed to operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, 12, and 13. The rectangular-shaped sensor provides 1 x digital output (Solid-state AC output; SPST contact type), has a sensing distance of 3m, utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm, and has a response time of 2ms / 0.002 s.
