About the product
Banner Engineering SM312FVQD is a photo-electric fiber optic sensor within the SM312 series, featuring a potentiometer adjustment for glass fiber. This sensor is housed in thermoplastic with glass fiber material and comes pre-equipped with a 4-pin Euro-style M12 connector. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc to 30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. Designed for M18 threaded mount installation, it can function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. The SM312FVQD offers a high degree of protection, rated at IP67 and compliant with multiple NEMA standards, including 1, 2, 3, 3S, 4, 4X, 6, and 12. Its rectangular shape incorporates 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor), operates with visible red light at a wavelength of 650 nm, and has a rapid response time of 1ms / 0.001 s. The operating modes available are Light-ON and Dark-ON.
