Banner Engineering SM312LVAG is a polarized photo-electric sensor from the SM312 series, designed in a retro-reflective mode with potentiometer adjustment. It features a thermoplastic housing and an acrylic lens. This sensor is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable terminated with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage of 10Vdc-30Vdc, with nominal values of 12Vdc and 24Vdc. The SM312LVAG offers an M18 threaded mount for installation and can operate within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +70°C. It boasts a degree of protection rated at IP67, NEMA 1, NEMA 2, NEMA 3, NEMA 3S, NEMA 4, NEMA 4X, NEMA 6, and NEMA 12. The sensor has a rectangular shape and includes 1 x digital output (PNP/NPN transistor). It is capable of sensing distances from 55mm to 2m and emits visible red light.
