About the product
Banner Engineering SMA30SELC is a photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications, part of the SM30 series. This sensor, functioning as an emitter, features a stainless steel housing and is pre-wired with a 6.5ft / 2m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads. It operates on a supply voltage range of 12Vac-240Vac (200Vac / 220Vac nominal) and 10Vdc-30Vdc (12Vdc / 24Vdc nominal), accommodating a wide range of power supplies. The SMA30SELC can operate in ambient air temperatures ranging from -40 to +70 degrees Celsius and is rated with a degree of protection of IP67, NEMA 6P, and IP69K, indicating a high level of protection against dust and water ingress. Its M30 cylindrical threaded/barrel shape allows for straightforward installation. The sensor boasts a sensing distance of up to 150 meters and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 880 nm. Its response time is quick at 10ms / 0.01 s, ensuring timely detection for automation applications.
