About the product

Anybus by HMS Networks AB7866-F is a gateway within the X-gateway series designed for protocol translation. It features a ControlNet adapter and an Interbus CU slave, allowing for vertical or flat installation with galvanic isolation on both BUS/Ethernet sides. Configuration is managed via a USB port using Anybus Configuration Manager software. The device includes 2 configuration switches (x10 / x1), 10 LED indicators for fieldbus, sub-network, and device status, and a baud rate jumper. It operates on a supply voltage of 19.2-28.8Vdc (24Vdc nom.) and has dimensions of H127mm x W44mm x D114mm. The housing is made from aluminium and plastic, with connection options including 2 ControlNet channel connectors, 1 9-pin D-sub male connector for Interbus bus-in, 1 9-pin D-sub female connector for Interbus bus-out, 1 2-poles 5.08mm plug-in screw connector for power, 1 USB connector, and 1 NAP connector. It offers an IP20 NEMA 1 degree of protection and is designed for DIN rail mounting. The communication protocols supported are ControlNet and INTERBUS, with an ambient air temperature for operation ranging from -25 to +65°C. Current consumption is 400mA (max) and 200mA (typical) at 24Vdc, with storage temperature tolerance from -40 to +85°C. The speed supported is 5Mbit/s for ControlNet and 500kbit/s to 2Mbit/s for INTERBUS, in environments with 5-95% relative humidity (non-condensing).
