Manufacturer:Schneider Electric
Category:Industrial Automation Components
Product Lifecycle:Active
Product description
Schneider Electric ATV630D18N4 is a Variable Speed/Frequency Drive (VSD/VFD) / Inverter from the Altivar Process 630 series, designed for variable and constant load torque applications, including optimized torque mode for PM (permanent magnet) motors and sensorless estimated flow rate. It features STO (Safe Torque Off up to SIL3), accurate measurement, and installation energy drift detection. The drive offers embedded Ethernet for direct system configuration and monitoring, integration of actual pump curves for system optimization, overvoltage limitation at motor terminals, and supports predictive and preventive maintenance tracking. It includes a built-in EMC filter (class C2), is ATEX compliant, and operates on a supply voltage of 323-528Vac (380Vac / 400Vac / 480Vac / 500Vac nom.). Dimensions are H546mm x W211mm x D232mm, with an IP21 UL type 1 degree of protection. Rated current is 39.2A (normal-duty; 4kHz), 31.7A (heavy-duty; 4kHz), with a maximum current of 43.1A (normal-duty; for 60s) and 47.6A (heavy-duty; for 60s). Wall mounting is the prescribed mounting mode. Communication protocols include Modbus, Modbus TCP, and Ethernet on a 3-phase network with an output frequency of 0.1-500 Hz. It features 2 x analog outputs, 6 x digital inputs (with 2 programmable as pulse inputs), 1 x digital input for STO, 3 x digital outputs, and 3 x analog inputs. Current consumption varies by voltage and duty, with rated active power of 18.5kW (normal-duty) and 15kW (heavy-duty), corresponding to 25HP and 20HP respectively.
