Banner Engineering EA5R600PIXMODSRQ is a sensor designed for edge detection with a robust aluminium housing. This sensor, part of the EZ-ARRAY series, functions as a short-range measuring light curtain array edge/profile sensor and is specified as the receiver alone. It features a 600mm array length and is capable of detecting objects sized between 5-10mm with a resolution of 5mm. The sensing distance ranges from 30mm to 1.5m. For outputs, it is equipped with 2 analog outputs (4-20mA) and 2 digital outputs (PNP transistor; complementary NO/NC), supporting versatile application needs. The sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and offers a degree of protection rated at IP65, ensuring durability in various environmental conditions. It comes pre-equipped with an 8-pin Euro-style M12 connector for connectivity and requires a supply voltage of 12Vdc to 30Vdc, with 24Vdc nominal. Communication is facilitated via the Modbus RTU RS-485 protocol. The sensor's design includes 120 beams with a 5mm beam spacing/pitch, encapsulated in a rectangular shape.
