About the product
Banner Engineering Q45AD9R W/30 is an intrinsically-safe photo-electric sensor designed for through-beam system applications with an opposed mode potentiometer adjustment. It features an M30 threaded mount for secure installation and is equipped with a pre-wired 30ft / 9m cable that terminates with bare end flying leads for easy connection. This sensor operates within an ambient air temperature range of -40 to +70°C and is housed in a thermoplastic material with an acrylic lens, ensuring durability. It belongs to the Q45AD9 series and offers a sensing distance of up to 6m with an infrared light source at a wavelength of 880 nm. The Q45AD9R W/30 operates on a supply voltage of 5Vdc to 15Vdc, with 12Vdc nominal, and features a rectangular shape. It provides one digital output (NAMUR) with a response time of 2ms for ON and 4ms for OFF. This sensor supports both Light-ON and Dark-ON operating modes and is protected to IP67 NEMA 6P standards, making it suitable for a wide range of industrial environments.
