About the product
Banner Engineering SLLR40-420-S is a safety light curtain from the LS-S series type 4 safety light curtains designed for arm detection with a 40mm resolution. This part, serving as the receiver alone, is encased in an aluminium housing with an acrylic lens and zinc end caps, ensuring durability. It features an integral removable disconnect (RD) connection type and operates on a 24Vdc supply voltage. The SLLR40-420-S is designed to function within an ambient air temperature range of -20 to +55°C and offers a protective height of 420mm. Its compact dimensions include a net width of 36mm, a net height of 425mm, and a net depth of 45mm, all in a yellow housing. This safety light curtain is equipped with two digital outputs (24Vdc; 500mA; sourcing; redundant OSSD solid-state outputs) and one digital output (24Vdc; 100mA; sourcing/PNP transistor) for CSSI status output. It has a sensing distance range from 10cm to 12m and utilizes infrared (IR) light with a wavelength of 850 nm for detection. The response time is quick at 8.2ms / 0.0082 s. For protection against environmental factors, it is rated with a degree of protection of IP65 and IP67.
